Traffic

Riding bicycles and walking are the most usual way of traffic. If you often travel around the campus, or go shopping and entertainment outside, it's convenient to buy a bicycle and learn to ride it.

In China, the traffic is on the right side of the road, the same as in the North America and the European Continent. Students from the United Kingdom, Australia, Japanese and some other countries should pay special attention to this issue. A valid Chinese driving license is required for driving cars in China. Driving licenses issued by foreign countries cannot be used.

Especially, for special protection of student safety, driving motorcycle in the campus is not allowed.

Drunk driving is strictly prohibited.

If you encounter an accident unfortunately, rescue the injured and call the police in the first place, remeber the number of the vehicle, protect the scene for the police to investigate. Slight accident can be disposed by negotiation between the both sides. Never run away after encountering an accident, since it will make you fully responsible to the accident and may turn the case to a crime.

According to the rules of the local committee of traffice safe, the student who drive a car on campus should register in FSAO with the driver licence and the licence of the vehicle to accept information of continuous driver education and traffic control administration.
