Student Associations

As of June 2011, there are 137 student associations and organizations in Tsinghua University, covering five domains such as humanities and social sciences, science and technology, public service, arts, and sports. More than 30,000 students are registered as the association members.

The international students are encouraged to participate in various extracurricular activities and join the student associations of the University. Most popular among the international students are the Association of International Cultural Exchange (AICE), Zijing Volunteers, Student Art Troupe, and Sports Teams, etc.

The Foreign Student Affairs Office of Tsinghua University also organizes extracurricular activities for the international students, including New Year's party, graduation party, tour visits, and sports competitions, etc.
