Tsinghua University offers 38 undergraduate programs to international students. The undergraduate programs have a schooling system of 4 years, except that the architecture program requires 5 years. The programs are delivered in Chinese or bilingually in Chinese and English. Bachelor’s degree and graduation certificate are awarded to those who have finished all the required course work and passed thesis defense.

Tsinghua University offers 98 Master and 76 Doctoral programs to international students (see Appendix for the catalog of programs). Master programs are usually completed in 2-3 years, and Doctoral programs 4 years. Certificates of degree and graduation will be awarded to those who have completed the entire course work and passed thesis / dissertation defense.

In the academic year 2012 - 2013, Tsinghua University will offer 11 Master programs and one Doctoral program in English. The programs are developed delicately for the applicants who are skilled in English but do not have Chinese language proficiency.
